THURSDAY LECTURE
Thursday lectures
For more than five years, BibleNet has offered Thursday Bible lectures every week at 8:00 p.m. KST (UTC+9), exploring the Bible and Christian doctrine in depth.
Beginning with textual studies of individual biblical books, including Genesis, the lectures have covered a wide range of subjects, from the Bible and church history to various theological themes. Their aim is not simply to introduce the contents of the Bible, but to examine biblical texts alongside theological resources for a deeper and more systematic understanding of the Word.
A lecture manuscript is provided to participants for every session so they can reread and study the material afterward and use it in Bible study and their life of faith.
As of August 2026, the lecture series is addressing “The Identity of the Brethren Movement.” It examines the historical and biblical background of the movement, the early Brethren’s understanding of the church and Scripture, and the meaning of that spirit for the church today, from historical, theological and biblical perspectives.
Anyone who wishes to study the Bible more deeply is welcome to participate. To join, email biblenet@hanmail.net to receive participation information. Lectures and their materials are primarily in Korean.
